Wedding Venues
Hidden River Barn - Cumbria
Hidden River Barn will always be a particularly special venue for us at Confetti Bee — because it’s where we got married ourselves.
Tucked away in the beautiful Cumbrian countryside, close to the Lake District, Hidden River Barn is a truly special setting for couples looking for a relaxed, romantic and slightly different wedding venue.
If you’re searching for a beautiful Wedding Venue Cumbria has to offer, Hidden River Barn is one we can personally recommend.
Surrounded by ancient woodland and sitting beside the River Lyne, the barn combines rustic character with a modern finish, creating a stunning backdrop for both ceremonies and celebrations. The venue can cater for weddings of around 50 to 250 guests, making it just as suited to an intimate gathering as it is to a larger celebration.
One of the things we love most about Hidden River Barn is that the experience goes far beyond the wedding itself. Couples and their guests can stay on the estate in beautiful luxury cabins and accommodation, turning the occasion into a proper wedding getaway rather than simply one day. There’s also a dedicated wedding team on hand to help bring everything together.
With woodland, riverside scenery and the Cumbrian countryside all around you, there are plenty of incredible opportunities for those all-important wedding photographs — and, of course, the perfect backdrop for a spectacular confetti moment.
Why Confetti Bee recommends them
This one is very personal to us.
Having chosen Hidden River Barn for our own wedding, we’ve experienced the venue first-hand and know just how special it is. From the beautiful surroundings and relaxed atmosphere to the team behind the venue, it gave us everything we wanted from our wedding day.
There are endless opportunities for incredible wedding photographs too — including, of course, that all-important confetti shot!
We’re the experts when it comes to wedding confetti, but when it comes to creating an unforgettable wedding venue and experience, we’re very happy to hand you over to the team at Hidden River Barn.
It was our choice for our own wedding, and that’s exactly why it deserves the very first spot in The Wedding Edit.
